TECHNICAL SUPPORT CONSULTANT  

In the Technical Support Consultant position you are empowered to provide our customers with both a responsive and enjoyable experience while meeting their technical and business requirements. This is achieved by performing this role with a warm, friendly, “can-do” approach where the customer feels that they are being taken care of when they call. This position will be responsible for performing two distinct types of service. The first will be to perform as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for addressing incoming calls from clients. The second is to perform as a Level I technical support consultant. This position requires a demonstrated sense of urgency and accountability for ensuring that their technical and business needs are met. This position also requires a commitment towards taking a team approach as well as responsibility for contributing to the overall success of the team.

Requirements include:
Education & Related Experience

- BS degree in Business, CIS or related field or equivalent related work experience
- 1+ year of experience providing end-user desktop and network support in a service environment
- Proven experience working in a phone or remote network support capacity
- Experience working in a service environment
- Experience in supporting Windows 2000/XP, MS Office 2000/XP, MS Outlook and other desktop applications
- Experience in performing basic network administration tasks in a Windows NT/2000/XP environment
- Experience supporting Citrix Metaframe XP is desired
- Experience utilizing remote network management tools is highly desired
- Must be able to travel by vehicle to various client sites and maintain a flexible work schedule
- Valid state driver’s license and good driving record
